Yes, Edicius does own a chainsaw. 
It was one of his torture weapons for Jin and he was obsessed with i t
though after the main story, it was pretty much useless to him since he didn't want to torture Jin anymore, though he still loves the chainsaw almost as much as he loves RedStone ;3
